"W" is for Webbox.

Webbox had a problem. The design made retailers perceive the brand as "low quality", making it tough to get listed. We needed to change that perception, shifting from playful and budget-friendly to credible and trustworthy. So, we dug deep into what pet parents really want from a pet food brand. Understanding what drives dog and cat owners to buy helped us create a stronger connection with Webbox’s audience. Our strategy puts quality, taste, and health at the heart of Webbox, giving it a fresh, modern identity that speaks to both pet lovers and retailers.

The result? A brand that stands out and wins trust.

A bold new look

What Webbox needed was a reset, because retailers weren’t convinced, and pet parents weren’t engaged. Our solution focused on what truly matters - quality, taste, and health - placing pets at the heart of everything Webbox does. These insights shaped a new brand identity and packaging design that reflects the standard of the product inside. We sympathetically modernised the brand identity, making it simple and emotionally engaging through a refined logo, friendly, handcrafted letterforms and a fresh colour palette. Positioned on a clean cream background, it cuts through the noise on crowded shelves.

At the centre of it all is the iconic “W,” setting the stage for dynamic pet photography. We chose some of the UK’s favourite breeds to add warmth and energy and every element works together to reinforce the Webbox promise: real food that real pet lovers can trust. Now, Webbox isn’t just another pet brand. It’s one that truly connects.

Standing out from the pack

They say never work with children or animals - can you imagine trying to persuade a cat to jump through hoops? But, working with renowned animal photographer Tim Ainsworth, we did exactly that and had so much fun!

From dogs mid-leap to cats striking the perfect pose, every shot was designed to capture personality and energy. We painstakingly refined each image, enhancing every glossy coat, sparkling eye, and perfect nose to create a suite of photography that not only looks great, but also helps to sell the Webbox story, putting pets front and centre, right where they belong.

Setting tails wagging

Every inch of the new packaging was carefully designed to maximise impact. We made sure each face tells a story, using an engaging tone of voice with a touch of wit and charm. Beyond packaging, our brand book and technical guidelines ensure Webbox stays consistent across every subcategory, from dog and cat food to treats.

Our brand activation concepts brought Webbox to life, turning the brand into one that excites pet owners and retailers alike. This isn’t just a redesign - it’s a transformation that’s got tails wagging.
